The objective of the project has been the development of technologies enabling the automation of vehicles in urban and industrial transport applications, aiming to significantly increase efficiency, safety, and sustainability.
MASERMIC, as a company specialized in the development and manufacturing of high-value-added electronic and mechatronic products, particularly for the electromobility sector, has focused its participation in this project on the development and integration of a perception system based on LIDAR technology and remote transmission of information for integration into vehicles designed for infrastructure maintenance inspection, utilizing the iOne vehicle platform for this purpose.
