The foundation of the AUTODRIVE project is to provide integrated electronic components, electrical/electronic architectures, as well as fail-safe and fail-operational embedded software systems for fully automated driving to make future mobility safer, more efficient, affordable, and acceptable for the end user.

At a glance, AUTODRIVE will enhance automated driving through the technical advancement of semiconductor technologies, electronic components, and systems to enable and ensure operation.

  • Fault-aware (e.g., self-diagnosis, health monitoring).

  • Fail-safe (if operation fails).

  • Fail-operational (fault tolerance and HW/SW redundancy).

I2V communication system for electric buses in urban areas.

The focus of the demonstrator has been the integration of communication regarding the definition of optimal speed profiles for the demonstrator related to the electric bus in the Málaga Use Case, where I2V communication has been used for interaction between traffic lights and the vehicle. The goal of the demonstrator has been to show that I2V communication can optimize traffic flow in urban environments.
