The R3CAV project aims to research and develop new connected technologies, as well as an adaptable hardware and software architecture for autonomous vehicles that can operate from advanced levels of driver assistance to full autonomy. It has an initial approved budget of 8.453.534,00 € and is led by the Renault Group, in consortium with Indra, Masmovil, GMV ITS, GMV ASP, ALSA, Sigma, and Masermic.
Within this project, Masermic is developing an innovative Autonomous and Connected Electric Vehicle Platform, designed to operate as an adaptable modular shuttle for urban passenger transport.
This project has been supported by the Ministry of Science and Innovation and subsidized by the CDTI (Spanish Autonomous Community of Madrid) within the framework of the Sustainable Automotive Technology Program (PTAS 2021), funded by the European Union – NextGenerationEU, as part of the Recovery, Transformation, and Resilience Plan.
